Mark Henry continues to amaze everyone with his progress. He had a good week in rehab and was discharged from the hospital on Friday one week earlier than we had anticipated.
The doctors are very happy with his recovery and progress so far. It was so nice for him to get home and us to be back together as a family in our own home. We all slept well this weekend and re adjusted to life at home. He has been busy re discovering his toys and space. He has also enjoyed me reading all the cards that were waiting for him and opening gifts that were sent to him. He is really spoiled! We appreciate all the kind words and cheering him on in his recovery. He has lots of new books, games and art supplies to keep him busy for the next few weeks. We hope to be able to get him a bike that he can ride to get his legs stronger. It will be fun for him to get outside and enjoy the nice weather we are having and a change from riding in his chair. There is a local place we think we can get a bike adapted that will be less than ordering a medical type one. Here are some photos and video from his last week in hospital.
