Rainy Weekend, Cosmic Bowling!

Today is a rainy Saturday which is excited in and of itself as rain means the temperatures are rising and we are happy it's not more snow!

We decided to take Mark Henry bowling for the first time.  Not knowing how he would like it we tentatively paid for only 1 game each. But he loved it so much we played two, well the boys did.  I threw so many gutter balls the first game and realized I was adding wait time between Mark Henry's turns so I sat out the second game and just helped MH.

Little did we know that is was Saturday Cosmic Bowling day, and for our second game the main lights went out the black lights came on and everything including Mark Henry's green bowling ball, glowed! 

There were several birthday parties going on the other end of the alley and they played fun music and even had the mascot there Pinny dressed as a bowling pin!
Mark Henry really enjoyed his turn at bowling and also was very patient waiting his turn.  He bowled from his chair which made it easy and when it was his turn the bumpers popped up and he had a special ramp to roll his ball down.  Here are some pics and video, bowling was definately a hit and we will be going back again soon!  We ended the game with some popcorn and coke, which just about made his day!  ( he is answering questions and saying YES more consistently! listen at the end of the video!)
